How To Make Stir-Fried Chayote (Tumis Labu Siam)

Here is another simple dish using chayote. All you need is only the chayote and other simple seasonings.

The ingredient:
1) One chayote


2) Four shallots


3) Three pieces of garlic


4) A half of tomato


5) Two red chilies


6) Galangal (as much as the picture)


7) Salt


8) Sugar

















9) Flavoring















10) Coconut oil


The procedure:
1) Prepare the chayote, cut it into pieces as you want.


2) Cut the red chilies, shallots, garlic, tomato into pieces.


3) Smack the galangal.
4) Put the pieces of red chili, shallot, garlic, tomato, and the smacked galangal into the frying pan with hot coconut oil. Fry them until cooked.


5) Add the pieces of chayote. Don't forget to add the flavoring, salt, and sugar as you want to make it tasty.


6) Wait until cooked, you can see the chayote become soft.
7) Finally, the stir-fried chayote is ready.
