How To Make Ayam Goreng Lengkuas

Eating fried chicken is always my favorite. Now, I cooked Ayam Goreng Lengkuas.

Ingredient (as much as the picture below):
1. Chicken (around 1.5 kg)

2. Galangal

3. Garlic

4. Candlenut

5. Turmeric

6. Coriander

7. Ginger

8. Bay leaves

9. Lime leaves

10. Lemongrass

11. Salt

12. Vegetable oil
13. Water

1. Prepare the galangal, cut it into pieces, and put it into a blender to have it become small fibers. 

2. Smash and mix the garlic, candlenut, turmeric, coriander, ginger, and salt.

3. Heat the vegetable oil and cook the smashed ingredient no. 2.

4. Put the chicken, add some water, and put all the remaining ingredient: bay leaves, lime leaves, lemongrass, and galangal fibers.

5. Leave it for 30-60 minutes or until cooked well, and do not forget to put the cover.

6. After it looks cooked well, then put it out and filter it. Discard the bay leaves, lime leaves, and lemongrass so we will only have the chicken with the galangal.

7. Prepare the hot oil and put them, and fry it until it gets brown.

8. When it gets brown, your Ayam Goreng Lengkuas is ready to be served.
