To Remove Memories

Removing bad memories are reasonable. However, how about removing good memories? I have learned that not all good memories are good to be remembered. Some left eternal happiness to the future, some left wound that make you feel hurt when you remember it.

How come good memories create wound? When you learned that those good memories do not have any meaning to the future. When you learned that those good memories do not happen consistently so at that time when it happened in contrast repeatedly, you start to enquire, what is actually happening? It created confusion. Therefore, it is meaningless to the future.

"Someday, everything will make perfect sense. So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears, and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason." -anonym.

The good memories left sadness for now and even if remembered in the future.

"The real reason why you're sad, you are attached to people, who have been on and off with you, you pay attention to the people, who ignore you, and make time for people, that are too busy, for you, let those people go" -anonym.

Sometimes, I am tired with all those feelings. Hence, my short plan is always removing the memories. As what I feel it always relates to the memories that I have either good or bad things.  Next, restart from zero, do not look back, forgive, accept, laugh, and smile. Lighten yourself from those heavy feeling. Welcome the new you.

"Why do we feel sad? Because we are still in dunya"
"Why do we still shed a tear? Because we are still in dunya"
"Why do we still feel disappointed? Because we are still in dunya"

"Why do we still feel fear and worried? Because we are still in dunya"

"So when does the tear dry? The sadness go away? The fear and worries disappear?"

"Allah answers, "Enter the heaven! There will be no fear for you, nor will you grieve" (Al-A'raf: 49), quoted from @oemar_mita

Thus, it is okay to feel sad, disappointed, fear, or worried, as we are still in dunya. Just embrace those emotions. It's truly okay. We need to be patient to feel the eternal happiness with no sadness, disappointment, fear, and worries, with the provision to do good and avoid bad deeds, ultimately Allah ridho to you.

To remove memories, it's part of your life, that you can control, so it's up to you what you want to do with your own memories. But, what people do to you, you cannot control.
